PURPOSE:To provide the titled film having favorable typing property and capable of printing clear characters even when printing speed is enhanced, formed of a polyethylene resin having a fixed density, a specified coefficient of orientation and a specified stress at 5% elongation. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin resin or the like is added, if required, to a polyethylene resin having a density of not lower than 0.940, preferably, 0.950-0.970, followed by mixing in a mixer or the like, and the material thus obtained is kneaded and extruded by a twin-screw extruder or the like, followed by cooling to obtain the objective film which has a coefficient of orientation of 0.40-0.90 and a stress at 5% elongation in the longitudinal direction of 200-500kg/cm<2>. The melt index of the polyethylene resin is preferably 0.8-8. |
