PURPOSE:To reduce the price and to achieve silent operation by constructing the power generating mchanism and the air supply mechanism of stirling engine into rotary type having a rolling piston rotatable eccentrically in the cylinder and a vane slidable against the outercircumference of said piston. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric section 32a is provided on the crank shaft 32 supported rotatably in the center of a tubular auxiliary cylinder 31 then a rolling cylinder 33 is fitted rotatably to construct a rolling piston 34. Vanes 37, 38 are inserted slidably into the vane grooves 35, 36 of said cylinder 31 to slide radially against the outercircumference of piston 34 thus to define the auxiliary cylinder 31 into high and low temperature spaces 59, 60 and to construct an air supply mechanism 30a. Power generating mechanism 30b is constructed similarly to communicate between both low temperature spaces 60, 72 through a piping 74 while to communicate the buffer space 73 with the buffer space 76 at the outside of cylinder. |
