PURPOSE:To make a device small-sized considerably by providing a linear tracking arm which is slid linearly along a slide shaft in a driving box in the left of a turntable in a device body. CONSTITUTION:The driving box incorporating a device which drives a tracking arm 14 is arranged in the left of a player body 9 provided with a turntable 10. The turntable 10 is rotated, and the tone arm 14 is moved from the rear of the table 10 to the outside peripheral part of a record 11, and a cartridge falls to start playing. Dimensions of the device body are made small-sized considerably because the driving device is installed in the left of the turntable, and it is unnecessary to provide an aperture part and inclusion of foreign matters is prevented because the tone arm 14 and the driving device are stored in the driving box 15. |
