PURPOSE:To improve the turbine efficiency by communicating between the upstream side bent section and the vicinity of the outlet of a suction tube bent into double-S shape at the outside of conduit and counter flowing the high pressure water near the outlet into the water flow separation area in the suction tube thereby suppressing the separation. CONSTITUTION:A turbine 1 provided in a conduit is constructed with an outside casing 2, an inside casing 4 supported through a stay vane, a runner journaled to said casing 4, a guide vane 6 arranged in the upstream to perform regulation and interruption of the conduit, etc. The suction tube 7 is bent into double-S type while the turbine shaft 8 is penetrating through the suction tube 7 and coupled to a generator 9. The inside at the rear-half bent section of the first bent section 7a of the suction tube 7 is communicated through a pipe 9' with the vicinity of the outlet 7c at the outside of the conduit where a valve 10 is provided in said pipe 9'. Consequently, the high pressure water at said position 7c is counter flowed into the separating area 7d to achieve the intended purpose. |
