The invention relates to a solar-power installation which is characterised by being set up as a superstructure for public traffic routes (1). The solar-power installation comprises sheet-like modular units which are arranged in rows in panels (9) and consist of photo-voltaic cells. The longitudinal axis A of the entire row arrangement runs in parallel with the direction of travel. When set up on motorways having a central reserve (2), T-shaped load-bearing elements (3) with a jib (5) and a support (4) are used. The supports (4) are anchored within the central reserve (2) and crash barriers (8) are fixed on either side on the supports (4).
