PURPOSE:To make it possible to optionally change the discharge rate of a compressor, by relatively changing the axial distance between scroll members. CONSTITUTION:A movable scroll 3 is turnably disposed in a compressor casing 1. Further, a stationary scroll 2 is set to be axially movable. The tip ends of laps 2a, 3a of both scrolls are made to abut against partition walls 13, 16, and the partition walls 13, 16 are pierced therethrough with the laps 3a, 2a of their mates, respectively. When the stationary scroll is axially moved by means of screw mechanisms 18, 19 formed on the outer periphery of a discharge pipe 7, the height of a working chamber is decreased, and the partition wall 13 may be turned together with the movable scroll 3 so that the discharge rate of the compressor may be reduced. |
