<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a device which has a partially different visual angle at low cost by orienting >=2 kinds of liquid-crystal display panel in different directions in the same plane, and arranging different-directional polarizing directions as many as the panels. CONSTITUTION:A metallic mask plate is applied to a liquid-crystal display panel 1 to rub the panel in a necessary direction, forming light orientating films 2 and 3 which are oriented as shown by, for example, arrows A and B. Polarizing plates 10 and 11 having windows 12 and 13 in the same shapes with the light orientating films 2 and 3 are superposed thereupon and a polarizing plate which has polarization characteristics in the same direction with the windows 12 and 13 are arranged in the windows 12 and 13. Thus, the device which has a different kind of visual angle is manufactured easily at low cost and the total visual angle is increased to improve the contrast.</p> |
