PURPOSE:To recover and maintain the cooling function, and to prevent the decrease in detecting function of an infrared ray detector by a method wherein at least one of the cooling plate and the reflection plate is provided with a heater. CONSTITUTION:Since the decrease in cooling function of the titled device caused by the deposition and freezing of out gas 12 will cause an increase in temperature of a detector 6, the increase is detected by a temperature sensor and brought in communication with the ground station 30, and a heater power source 20 provided in the satellite main unit 1 is operated according to the command, thus conducting cooling-plate heaters 13 and 15 and a reflection-plate heater 14. Accordingly, the out gas 12 deposited and freezing on the infrared ray detector 6, heat dissipating planes 7' and 9' of the cooling plate, and the mirror plane 8' of the reflection plate is vaporized and dispersed to the aerospace. This construction enables the yield of the titled device which can prevent the decrease in detecting function of the infrared ray detector. |
