<p>PURPOSE:To improve the rising characteristic of a current flowing through a primary winding by providing a winding in addition to the primary winding and secondary winding wound to an iron core and connecting a choke coil to the one end of such winding. CONSTITUTION:A winding 4 is provided in addition to a primary winding 1, a secondary winding 2 wound to an iron core 3 and a choke coil 5 is connected to the one end of winding 4, thereby forming a non-inductive type ignition coil. In this circuit, the one end of winding 1 and the other end of winding 4 are connected. The one end of coil 5 is connected to the ground and the other end of winding 1 connected to the ground through a braker point 9. Moverover, the one end of winding 2 is connected to the one end of winding 1 and an output of winding 2 is connected to an ignition plug 7. A current I1 flowing into the winding 1 starts to flow when the point 9 closes, but since the current I1 flow reversely to the current I2 flowing into the winding 4, an inductance of winding 1 is reduced when the current I1 flows. Therefore, the rising characteristic of current I1 is improved. When the point 9 opens under this condition, a pulse power is generated at the windings 1, 4.</p> |
