PURPOSE:To suppress the decrease in acidity of a citrus fruit, by irradiating the fruit with light having a specific wavelength range or with light having specific energy. CONSTITUTION:Stored citrus fruits are irradiated with light having a wavelength of <=550nm or energy of <=4.0nE/cm<2>.
