PURPOSE:To prevent preliminarily the battery of an automobile from being consumed excessively during the stop of an engine without providing any extra display device by annunciating a drop in the battery voltage on a display device that on-vehicle radio equipment has originally. CONSTITUTION:When the current voltage value is higher than the set value is memory, the current voltage value is displayed at part of the display part 8, which is thus used even as a voltmeter. When this detected current voltage value is lower than the set value, the current voltage values displayed at group code digits of the display part 8 is flashed to let a user know that the consumption of the battery is large. For the purpose, a slightly higher set value is inputted and then a preliminary warning is generated when the personal radio equipment operates normally. If a warning is generated on the basis of this set value, the engine is started to charge the battery or stop radio communication, preventing the consumption of the battery. In this case, the personal radio equipment is equipped with a switch part 7 having a ten-key initially, so the set value is easily varied.
