PURPOSE:The titled composition which does not suffer decrease in electrical performance under immersed application of a voltage, comprising a base resin comprising an ethylene/vinyl acetate/acrylate ester copolymer or a mixture based on this copolymer, and carbon black. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. base resin comprising an ethylene/vinyl acetate/acrylate ester copolymer or a mixture based on this copolymer and, if necessary, containing an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, etc., is mixed with 10-90pts.wt. carbon black and, optionally, a crosslinking agent (aid), antioxidant, processing aid, lubricant, etc.
