PURPOSE:To improve the production efficiency of dried noodles, to save labor, and to obtain a uniform product, by carrying out the drawing and drying of noodles by mechanical means, and adjusting the diameter of the noodles automatically to a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:Raw noodles (a) are extended over a pair of hanging rods 5, 6 in multiple turns, and extended. Both ends of a rod 5 are placed on an endless chain conveyor 2, and the rod is transferred horizontally through the drying chamber or a house 1 from the inlet to the outlet. Both ends of the other rod 6 are transferred through the lower part of the drying chamber of the house 1 by an endless chain conveyor 9 having transfer nibs in a pair of lower rails 7 declining from the receiving end to the delivery end. The height difference between the receiving end and the delivery end is made to be adjustable. The noodles are transferred through the chamber, etc. keeping vertical state, and dried and automatically drawn to a prescribed diameter. The production efficiency can be improved, the production labor can be saved, and a uniform product can be produced by this process. |
