PURPOSE:To inspect performance without using any special testing device by supplying a signal which indicates a maximum indication value to a display part before use and decreasing the level of the signal successively. CONSTITUTION:Once an ignition switch is turned on, a signal generating part 4 generates and supplies the signal which indicates the maximum indication value to the display part 1, but the display value decreases with time and the output signal is ceased eventually. Then, a detecting part 5 does not detect the output signal of the generating part 4 any more and supplies a 0-level signal to a terminal 3a of a switching part 3 instead of a 1-level signal and switching to a signal supplied to a terminal 3c of the switching part 3 is performed, so that a signal generated by a sensor 2 is displayed on the display part 1. The display part 1 makes the maximum display when the ignition switch is turned and decreases the display value gradually; and the display function is checked and then the signal sent out of the sensor 2 is displayed. The sensor 2 outputs the signal corresponding to the number of rotation of the engine, so the display part 1 displays the number of rotation of the engine after the function is checked. |
