<p>PURPOSE:To improve the use efficiency of energy by starting charging/discharging of a main discharging capacitor in accordance with the operation required for photographing and setting this charging voltage to different voltage states in accordance with selection of use/disuse of a stroboscope. CONSTITUTION:When a wake-up start signal from a wake-up start signal generating means 5' is inputted to a wake-up means 5, a DC-DC converter circuit 1 starts the oscillating operation, and a main discharging capacitor 2 is charged by the output. The charging voltage of this main discharging capacitor 2 is detected by a voltage detecting means 3 and is compared with the output of a reference voltage setting means 9 by a comparing means 10; and the oscillation of the DC-DC converter 1 is stopped when the charging voltage of the main discharging capacitor 2 exceeds the set voltage. The set voltage of the reference voltage setting means 9 is set to a lower value when the strobe device is not used, and consequently, the charging voltage of the main discharging capacitor 2 is reduced.</p> |
