Triazole and imidazole compounds having the general formula (I): <CHEM> wherein R<1> is -CH=CH-X, -C = C-X or -CH2- CH22-X where X is H, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, cycloalkyl or optionally substituted aryl, aralkyl, aryloxyalkyl, or heterocycle; and R<2> is alkyl, cycloalkyl (eg. cyclopropyl, cyclopentyl, or cyclohexyl) or optionally substituted aryl; Z is Cl, CN or 0R<3> where R<3> is H, acetyl, alkenyl or aralkyl.
