<p>PURPOSE:To measure the flexure of the club shaft properly by clamping one end of the club shaft and fitting indenters at plural positions of the opposite end side, moving up and down the indenters and placing a load, and calculating bending rigidity and the quantity of flexure. CONSTITUTION:One end of the club shaft 11 is fixed to a clamping device 20. A loading device 26 is provided to the opposite side of the clamping device 20 and the club shaft 11 is clamped with indenters 27 and 28. Further, the horizontal operating board 31 of the loading device 26 is moved horizontally with a guide 33 and operating bodies 43 and 44 are moved forth and back to adjust positions of the indenters 27 and 28. Further, the loading device 26 is moved up and down by rotating a screw shaft 36. Then when a measurement is taken, the club shaft 11 is clamped with the indenters 27 and 28 at a proper position, the loading device is moved up or down to detect bending rigidity to the indenters 27 and 28 by a load cell and the quantity of flexure from the number of rotation of a motor. Thus, the indenters are adjusted to optional positions of the club shaft and a measurement is taken, so the rigidity and flexure are measured properly.</p> |
