PURPOSE:To relieve the load by execution the smearing operation with the repetition of smearing operation of four adjacent points and stack operation so as to allow a host processor to attain smear out an optional graphic only with the setting of an initial picture element. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate is stored in a stack 25 in the initial state. A base point picture element represented by the coordinate is taken as a start point of smearing-out and it is supposed that this point is smeared out already by ''1''. The content of the stack 25 is set to a coordinate register 21 by making an end signal 29 active. The value enters a picture element coordinate generator 22, from which addresses of four adjacent picture elements are generated sequentially. Since the read data is ''0'' in the three points, a stack signal 28 is made active by a discriminator 24 and the points are smeared out by ''1''. When all four adjacent points of the picture elements are checked to the value of the coordinate register 21, the end signal 29 is made active, the value of the stack 25 is set newly to the coordinate register 21 and the similar operation is repeated. |
