PURPOSE:To obtain encased popcorn, poppable by heating in an electronic oven in the same manner as by heating in a frying pan, etc., and capable of easily producing popcorn. CONSTITUTION:Encased popcorn obtained by sealing a popcorn raw material 1 prepared by mixing corn in a sufficiently smaller volume than the internal volume of a container 2 of optional shape consisting of a material having heat and oil resistance, e.g. pulp, paper or plastic, without preventing propagation of electromagnetic waves in an electronic oven with an edible oil in the container 2, providing a suitable number of air holes 7 in the container 2 or a lid thereof, and covering the air holes 7 with an adhesive seal 8. |
