PURPOSE:To prevent sulfurization and carburization with a small amt. of the titled agent to be added without hindering the curing reaction of a mold coating material or casting mold by providing a thin 1,2-polybutadiene film layer grafted by a Lewis acid catalyst on the surface of calcium oxide powder thereby forming the microcapsuled agent. CONSTITUTION:The thoroughly dried calcium oxide powder which does not contain calcium hydroxide is selected. The thin 1,2-polybutadiene film layer grafted by the Lewis acid catalyst such as aluminum chloride or titanium chloride, etc. is formed on the surface of such calcium oxide. A monomer is then dissolved in a solvent and the calcium oxide powder and acid catalyst are compounded therewith. The mixture is stirred by a ball.mill, etc. to form the thin film of the monomer on the surface of the calcium oxide, by which the mixture is capsuled. |
