PURPOSE:To provide an image-forming device which can be easily carried and in which a plurality of image-forming parts can use a single controlling part in common, by a construction wherein an image-formig part and a controlling part can be separated from each other, and are connected to each other through an information transfer passage. CONSTITUTION:An external signal line 24 is connected to a controlling circuit 22, image information is sent from an image reader through the line 24, and the circuit 22 controls an image-forming operation of the image-forming part 2 on the basis of the image information. The image-forming part 2 and a controlling part thus constructed can be separated from each other, and respective units 16, 21 can be combined with and separated from each other. Accordingly, since the unit 16 of the image forming part 2 and the unit 21 of the controlling part 3 can be separated from each other, the unit 16 can be solely separated to be placed at an operating place desired by the operator, whereby installation space can be markedly reduced. |
