PURPOSE:To improve considerably productivity and economic efficiency by enabling automation and continuation from a molding stage to a casting stage. CONSTITUTION:A pattern is assembled on a pattern assembling base 1 and the assembled pattern assembly 25 is attached to a mounting plate 26 which is held by a handling robot 12 and is subjected repeatedly to dipping and sizing by a quick continuous shell molding machine 2. A shell having a desired thickness is thereby manufactured. The shell is then charged by a robot 13 into a microwave pattern drawing furnace 3 where the pattern is drawn and the drawn pattern is imposed on a calcination conveyor 5. The pattern is then fed into a calcining furnace 4, by which the shell mold is completed. The casting mold is transferred by a handling robot 14 onto a casting conveyor 7 and after the mold is heated in a reheating furnace 6, a molten metal is poured from a quick high-frequency furnace 8 into the shell mold 1 which is imposed on the conveyor and is under movement. The shell mold with which casting is completed is transferred onto a shaking conveyor 9, by which the shell is broken down. The casting is cleaned by a turn blast 10 and is transferred onto a finishing and inspecting base 11. The entire stage is thus completed. |
