PURPOSE:To decrease intrusion of foam even if a passage area, fall, etc. fluctuate by forming a space between a nozzle body and a cap, stopping a molten metal in the space so that the molten metal flows out through a pouring hole. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal in a melting furnace 2 flows through passages 5, 3 and 6 into the space 9. The molten metal is further poured from the space 9 through the pouring hole 10 drilled to the cap 8 into a casting mold. The molten metal is thus admitted once into the space 9 and is received in said space and thereafter the molten metal is discharged from the hole 10, by which the intrusion of foam into the molten metal is decreased even if the passage area, fall, etc. fluctuate. |
