PURPOSE:To improve the operability by adding a circuit, which sets the value of either one of detected extents of movement to zero in accordance with turning- on/off of a switch, to switch easily the input of the extent of movement in an optional direction to/from that in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:Extents of movement in two axial directions, namely, X and Y directions are detected by a movement extent detecting mechanism 11 and are outputted onto output lines 12 and 13. In accordance with turning-on/off of newly added switches 16 and 17, detected data are controlled by selecting circuits 14 and 15 so that they are outputted as outputs 22 and 23 as they are or are set to zero forcibly. Each of these selecting circuits 14 and 15 consists of 8 AND gates, and data selecting lines 18 and 19 from said switches 16 and 17 are connected to inputs of individual AND gates, and data on output lines 12 and 13 are so controlled that they can pass through them or cannot pass.
