PURPOSE:To regulate the quantity and the distribution of ventilated air by arbitrarily varying the area of a rim duct in the bore of a rotor rim. CONSTITUTION:A duct spacer 5 is extended to the vicinity of the bore of a rotor rim 1, and a bolt hole is opened at the bore side of the spacer 5. On the other hand, a rectangular ventilation control plate 6 for regulating the area of a rim duct is mounted on the portion of the duct 2 by utilizing the bolt hole of the spacer 5. Thus, the quantity of ventilated air can be arbitrarily regulated, the axial temperature distribution of a stator winding is equalized, and the optimum quantity of the ventilated air can be obtained. Accordingly, the ventilation air loss can be reduced. |
