PURPOSE:To make the signal line laying work unnecessary to facilitate changing a guide path by communicating signals between plural unattended carriages and a central controller through plural repeating units which can be moved. CONSTITUTION:Movable repeating units 21 are installed along a guide path 1 of an optical tape or the like. An unattended carriage 11 receives a control signal from a central controller 31 through repeating units 21 to control the movement of the carriage 11. With respect to this control, the control sigal transmitted from a transmitting part 22 of the repeating unit 21 is received by a receiving part 13 of the receiving unattended carriage 11, and a motor is controlled by a control part 15. The carriage number signal, etc. are transmitted from a transmitting part 12 to a receiving part 23 of the repeating unit 21. Display parts 2 of the guide path 1 are detected by a position detecting part 14. Thus, in case that the guide path 1 where the unattended carriage 11 runs and moves is changed, laying installation positions of the guide path 1 and the repeating unit 21 are changed to change the guide path 1 easily. |
