<p>PURPOSE:To attain the simple installation of a message display device in an operator's waiting room, a guardman room, etc. which are distant from an information processor, by always displaying the latest call/information message and controlling so that an optional one can be displayed among those stored call/information messages. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 1 is provided to a message display device together with a read/write control circuit 2, address recorder 3, keyboard 4, message display part 5, message transmission/reception circuit 6, ROM7 and a ROM8. The cost of such a display device can be reduced with the cost reduction of the microprocessor 1, the ROM7, the RAM8, etc. owing to the rapid progress of the semiconductor IC technology. Thus it is possible to always display the latest and effective message in characters by an information processor even in case where a power supply is supplied asynchronously with the information processor or the information processor has the second rise after generation of the system breakdown. At the same time, the effective message preceding the latest message can also be selected and displayed optionally in characters.</p> |
