PURPOSE:To reproduce a picture with high quality by preheating a headup to such a degree that generates no color with the reverse data of a using line, and eliminating the store variance between black and white data parts of a line. CONSTITUTION:The signals fed from a circuit 1 are transferred to an MODEM3 via a circuit network controller 2, and the picture data demodulated by the MODEM3 are stored in a line memory 4. These data are read out of the memory 4 with the prescribed timing and outputted to a driver 7 via a switch 6. The driver 7 drives a thermal head so that no voltage is applied to a heating resistor which responds to the black data of a head 8. Such a drive of the thermal head is carried out with all heating resistors of the head 8. Thus these heating resistors conduct and generate heat at a certain temperature and generate colors with the heat-sensitive recording paper 10.
