PURPOSE:To attain processing of plural data files just with a single sheet of floppy disk and to increase the working efficiency, by performing the initialization of a floppy disk, recording in divisions plural data files containing the data of optional length to the initialized track, then reproducing those data files. CONSTITUTION:For writing of a directory file, the shift-out of home position HP is confirmed at the second writing and the reading of an STX code is detected. Then the initialization is performed based on the STX code as shown in a figure (b). For writing of a data file, the directory file is read at first as shown in a figure (b). The number F of files which are under writing modes is equal to ''0'', therefore after the EG0 is read out, a data file 1 is immediately written by LG1, STX1, DATA, TC1 and EG1 respectively. For reproduction of the data file, each data file is divided with LGn and STXn contained at the head and EGn given at the end respectively. Thus these items can be read successively with an READ command. |
