PURPOSE:To obtain a radiator having the satisfactory characteristics with a compact design and low loss by making use of a reflector plate at the opposite side to a helical wire as a part of a radio wave cut-off wall of a strip line amplifier. CONSTITUTION:The output terminal of a helical wire 1 is conntected electrically to the tip of a center line of a strip line 7 of an amplifier. An input circular polarized wave shown by an arrow head reaches the line through the wire 1 and is amplified by a low noise amplifier element 4 to be extracted through an output terminal 5. In this case, the transmission modes are similar to each other for signals which are converted between the wire 1 and the line 7 to ensure the smooth conversion together with a short distance. This can reduce the conversion loss. |
