<p>PURPOSE:To extract and recover selectively Al salts from waste by adding an extracting reagent contg. di-2-ethylhexyl phosphate and tributyl phosphate in a prescribed ratio to the waste to carry out extraction. CONSTITUTION:An extracting reagent contg. di-2-ethylhexyl phosphate in 1:2 volume ratio is added to waste such as waste water or sludge contg. Al salts such as aluminum sulfate and polychlorinated aluminum to extract selectively the Al salts. The extracting reagent contg. the extracted Al salts is subjected to back-extraction with a mineral acid such as hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid. By this method Al salts are extracted at a high rate of extraction, so an extracting apparatus can be reduced in size and Al can be recovered very efficiently.</p> |
