PURPOSE:To regulate characteristics of an inductor after being molded, by drawing one-ends of metal terminal plates out of a resin mold and by cutting away a portion of a collar projection of an hour-glass shaped high-frequency magnetic core as well as an outer side face of the resin mold. CONSTITUTION:Side faces of collars 5 of an hour-glass shaped high-frequency magnetic core 7 around which a coil is wound, are fastened to locking portions 10 provided on the tips of metal terminal plates 9 respectively. The coil 8 is electrically connected to a portion of the metal terminal plates 9. After the whole is covered by a resin mold 1, outwardly drawing portions 2 of the metal terminal plates 9 are bended along the side faces of the resin mold 1 respectively. After the inductor is finished, the characteristics can be regulated by cutting away little by little a portion of a collar projection 6 of the magnetic core 7 while measuring the characteristics. |
