PURPOSE:To form a pattern having the metallic feel and three-dimensional feel changing to fibers on the surface of a base material by forming a fine pattern of a metal by sputtering via a base coat on the surface of a synthetic resin base material and forming a transparent top coat layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:A base coat layer 2 is formed to about 10mum film thickness on the surface of a base material 1 consisting of a colored synthetic resin by a transparent or colored two-pack urethane paint, etc. A fine pattern layer 3 of a metal is then formed on the surface thereof by a sputtering method and further a transparent top coat layer 4 having about 20mum film thickness is formed thereon by a two-pack urethane paint, etc. to improve the wear resistance, weatherability and adhesion of the surface. The fine pattern 3 consisting of the metal may be formed on the rear surface of the transparent synthetic resin base material 1 and the colored or matting material-contg. top coat layer 4 may be formed on the rear surface thereof. |
