PURPOSE:To enable improvement in a follow-up characteristic with a simple and lightweight device by attaching a shaft end and sliding part which slide linearly a mounting plate to a fixing stand by means of a rotatable pin joint. CONSTITUTION:A titled detector is constituted of a rotating body 26 having a revolving shaft in parallel with a conveying direction Z, a guide 27 which is supported to the body 26 and is used to slide linearly said body in the direction perpendicular to the revolving shaft, a linear sliding shaft 28 engaged with the guide 27, a pin coupling part 29 engaging with a mounting plate 12 provided at one end of the shaft 28, etc. The plate 12 attached with a flaw detecting head 15 follows up the displacement and twist of a square billet 2 in the direction X and Y without moving in the direction Z after detecting the billet 2. The flaw detection is thus easily obtd. with one lightweight moving mechanism. |
