<p>PURPOSE:To enable a vehicle to move as a body cover remains put thereon, by making the body cover of a prescribed combined sheet, and providing the body cover with an expansible and compressible tightener on the hem of the cover and with door covering portions which cover the front doors of the vehicle and can be opened. CONSTITUTION:A body cover 1 is made of a combined sheet comprising an outer metallic film 11 including an aluminum film, and an inner loop-knitted material 12 having recesses. The body cover 1 has a form corresponding to that of a vehicle body. An expansible and compressible tightener 4 is provided on the hem of the body cover 1 so that the ends of the tightener are placed near locking portions at openings for the front doors 6 of the vehicle, and the tightener can be made tense by using anchoring means 3 provided at the ends of the tightener. Door covering portions 9 are provided so that the front doors 6 can be opened and closed as the body cover 1 remains put on the vehicle body. The covering portions 9 are fixed by the engagement of the loop-knitted material 12 and surface engagers 13 provided on the vehicle body and having protrusions, as well as the other portions of the body cover 1.</p> |
