<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture a seal, by using a thermoplastic resin such as NUCREL to mold the fixed portion of the seal, which is directly fixed on the end of a window pane, so as to enable the integral molding of the fixed portion and coupled portion of the seal. CONSTITUTION:To compose a seal 11, a fixed portion 13, which is directly fixed on the end 12a of one window pane 12, and a coupled portion 15, which is coupled to the end 14a of another window pane 14, are integrally molded. The fixed portion 13 has a U-shaped cross section and is made of a hard NUCREL resin which is a thermoplastic resin. The coupled portion 15 extends divergently toward the window pane 14 and is made of a soft Milastomer resin or the like. For that reason, the fixed portion 13 and the coupled portion 15 can be integrally molded by greatly reduce the number of all manufacturing steps for the seal 11 to heighten the efficiency of manufacturing work.</p> |
