Salt of lysine with meta-benzoyl-hydratropic acid - used as non-ulcerogenic antiinflammatory, analgesic and anti-agglutinant

Lysine m-benzoyl hydratropic acid salt of formula (I) is new. Used as anti-inflammatory analgesic, and anti-agglutiant. (I) is free from the ulcerogenic properties of m-benzoyl hydratropic acid (II) itself. Equimolar amts. of (II) and lysine are mixed in an alcoholic or aq. alcoholic medium, and (I) is sepd. by concn. of by pptn. with a non-solvent.
