PURPOSE:To widely and accurately control cooling water temperature of a cell by controlling a temperature control valve and a heater for a gas-moisture separator according to outlet cooling water temperature of the gas-moisture separator and a load of a fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water returned from a fuel cell is introduced into a gas- moisture separator 2, and separated water is circulated to a cooling plate in the cell through a circulation pump 3. A signal A of a detector 6 which detects load current of the cell 1 and a signal B of an outlet cooling water temperature detector 7 of the gas-moisture separator 2 are inputted to a controller 5, and thereby, opening of flow rate control valve 8 by which condensed water in a steam condenser 4 is introduced into an inlet of the pump 3 is controlled, and a heater 9 in the gas-moisture separator 2 is controlled through a thyristor 11. Cooling water temperature can be kept within a specified value over a wide range including starting and rest of operation. Therefore, life of the cell is increased. |
