PURPOSE:To obtain a supersonic motor having high efficiency by generating a standing wave by a rotor having the prescribed polarizing direction at an elastic material, and generating a circular motion having drive component in the rotating direction of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A supersonic motor has a rotatable rotor 30, a vibrator 31 applied with a supersonic signal for forming a stator S of an elastic material 32 for generating a standing wave having the drive component in a supersonic signal, and a contactor 33 between the rotor 30 and the stator S. In this case, the vibrator 31 is formed of two adjacent vibrators 31a, 31b of the same polarizing direction, and formed by alternating the polarizing direction at every one set. Thus, when a supersonic signal source is applied from between the lead wire 34 and an earth E to the vibrator 31, the stator S vibrates in the bevel gear state together with the material 32. Thus, drive components are transmitted through the contactor 33 to the rotor 30 to drive the rotor 30 in the rotating direction. |
