NEW MATERIAL:A compound containing fiber-reactive group of formula I [X is H, halogen, alkyl(sulfonyl), or removable group connected through N; Y is halogen or removable group connected through N; however, one or both of X and Y is removable group connected through N]. EXAMPLE:A compound of formula II. USE:Dyeing, printing of cellulose fibrous materials and cellulose-contg. fibers such as cellulose/polyester. Excellent in resistance to light, sunlight with sweat, moisture, friction and flatiron. PREPARATION:A condensation reaction in carried out in an aqueous medium at 50-95 deg.C under a pH3-8 between a compound of formula III or IV [D is organic dye residue; R1 is H or (substituted)lower alkyl; X' is H, halogen, alkyl etc.; Y' is halogen] and a compound of formula V (Q1 and Q2 are each methyl; Q3 is aliphatic group, etc.) or formula VI (Q4 and Q5 are each methyl; Q6 and Q7 are each H, methyl, etc.).
