THE PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE FOR SWELLING BITUMINOUS COALS AND PAINT COMPOSITE WITH SAID BITAMINOUS COALS

Swelled bituminous coal is prepared from powdered bituminous coal of 5-100 microns particle size by blending at 200-400≦̸C temp. a consecutive bituminous material (A) containing aromatic hydrocarbons and coal tar pitch, (B) containing (A) and added maleic anhydride, and (E) containing (B) and a characteristic alkyd. A paint composite for waterproofing and corrosion-protection painting is prepared from the swelled coal by blending it with an epoxy resin having 180-1000 avq. equivalent weight.
