PURPOSE:To form a true comfort zone in a short time by a method wherein wall temperature is detected simultaneously with the detection of room temperature and the operation of an air conditioner is continued until the wall temperature reaches the steady state. CONSTITUTION:The titled air conditioner consists of an indoor unit main body, a heat exchanger 2, a supply fan 3, a controller 4, a room temperature detection sensor 5 mounted on the suction air current (a) side of the heat exchanger 2 and a wall temperature detection sensor 6 mounted near of closely contact with a wall 7. Thus, when the wall temperature Tw is lower than the room temperature Ti during heating, the air conditioner is operated until the room temperature Ti exceeds the set temperature Ts. On the other hand, when the wall temperature Tw is higher than the room temperature Ti during cooling, the air conditioner is operated until the room temperature Ti becomes below the set temperature Ts. In addition, when the degree of comfort P is memorized in a formula between the room temperature Ti and the wall temperature Tw, the inside of the room can be kept comfortable at all times. |
