PURPOSE:To enable to accurately control the temperature by removing the effect of the change of combustion rate in the transitional stage by a method wherein the controlled water amount is corrected based upon the temperature of service hot water after the predetermined period of time when the combustion rate of a gas burner has changed. CONSTITUTION:The service hot water temperature detector 23 of the titled instantaneous water heater is provided in a water passage 24 on the downstream of a heat exchanger 1. A correcting means 25 to correct the set capacity of a gas burner 2 based upon the service hot water temperature measured by the temperature detector 23 is set to come into operation after the predetermined period of time since the change of the combustion rate of a gas burner 2. Concretely, the correcting means 25 calculates the actual size number Wo based upon flowing water amount Q measured by a flow detector 6, feed water temperature Tw measured by a feed water temperature detector 8 and the service hot water temperature TH measured by the service hot water temperature detector 23 after the set time (t) since the start of the hot water delivery and, after that, the calculated indication number Wo is substituted with the set capacity W. Thenceforth, the opening of a water control valve 9 is controlled based upon the calculated indication number Wo so as to set the control water amount Q0. |
