PURPOSE:To ease embarkation and disembarkation of passagers in stormy weather in such a way that support stands are installed for lifting up and down ships to a path for ships between a pair of piers which face each other, and the ships are lifted up and down by means by the support stands. CONSTITUTION:Piers 1 are juxtaposed through struts 2 in dolphin form, water area between a pair of a adjacent piers 1, 1 is made into a path 5 for a ship 4. And, support stands 6 to support and lift up and down the ship 4 are installed at the path 5, and the ship 4 can be lifted up and down by expanding and contracting cylinders 8. Besides, positioning mechanisms 10 are installed in the ship 4, the mechanisms 10 are integrated by a pair of link mechanisms 10A, 10A which are installed on the port and on the starboard of the ship 4, they are stretched out to the lateral sides of the ship 4 by pushing out cylinders 15, by which the ship 4 is stopped and held between the piers 1, 1. |
