PURPOSE:To suppress deposition of dendrite onto the negative pole of zinc battery by employing compound composed of metal oxide and high molecular compound as main component of positive pole black mix. CONSTITUTION:In a cell or battery employing metal zinc for the negative pole, compound composed of metal oxide such as manganese dioxide and high molecular compound such as polyamid is employed as main component of positive pole black mix. Iodine may be added to said compound as required. In said zinc battery, film type positive pole can be employed to provide wide electrode reaction area thus to reduce the distance between the positive and negative poles, resulting in a cell or battery having low inner resistance. |
