PURPOSE:A copolymer formed product containing a high polymer into which anion-exchanging groups can be introduced and another high polymer into which cation-exchanging groups can be introduced is treated with an alkyl dihalide to give an amphoteric ion exchanger with micro phase separation structure and macrostructure. CONSTITUTION:A high polymer into which anion-exchanging groups can be introduced, which consists of monomers selected from the group consisting of vinylpyridine such as 2-vinylpyridine, vinylquinoline, vinylcarbazole, and vinyl imidazole (poly A) and another high polymer into which cation-exchanging groups can be introduced, which consists of monomers such as acrylate esters (poly B) are used to prepare a block copolymer formed product containing more than 5wt% of poly A and poly B. Then, the formed product is treated with the vapor or solution of an alkyl halide of the formula: X(CH2)nX (X is Cl, I; n is 2-12) to introduced anion-exchanging groups into the poly A and cation- exchanging group into the poly B. USE:It is used as a medical material such as an antithromobic separation membrane. |
