PURPOSE:To obtain the titled coating capable of suppressing noise by direct coating on the cover of power machines as vibration and/or noise source, by kneading and homogeneously dispersing epoxy resin etc. in metal-contg. bulk powder prepared by incorporating metallic powder in a synthetic resin, melting on heating to effect dispersion followed by rapid cooling into solidification then shattering. CONSTITUTION:The objective coating can be obtained by incorporating (A) 60- 75wt% of metal-contg. bulk powder with a size pref. 70-250 mesh prepared by incorporating a synthetic resin with metallic powder such as of lead, aluminum, zinc, ion, brass copper, ferrite, titanium, permalloy, nickel, kneading on heating followed by rapid cooling into solidification then shattering with (B) e.g. 25- 40wt%, as a binder, of epoxy resin, rubber-based resin or acrylic resin, followed by kneading and homogeneously dispersion.
