PURPOSE:To attain to prevent jamming, by separating recording paper after transfer from a heat-sensitive ink sheet always at a constant position. CONSTITUTION:At the time of recording, the heat-sensitive ink sheet A supplied from a holder 5 through idle rollers 8, 9, 10 and the recording paper B supplied from registing rollers 16, 17 are stacked in the transfer part between a thermal head 6 and a platen roller 11. After the transfer recording to the recording paper B was performed, the heat-sensitive ink sheet A reaches a separation part along the surface of the platen roller 11 from the transfer part and further reversed at the separation part to be fed along the surface of a separation roller 24 and wound up by a wind-up mechanism 7 while curved into an S-shape. The recording paper B is run along the surface of the platen roller 11 to be curved into a C-shape and fed out to the tangential direction of the platen roller 11 from the aforementioned separation part and subsequently is discharged to a tray 13 through discharge rollers 22, 23. |
