PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance earthquake-resistant strength, and to check trouble of a split transformer such as generation of a crack at a connecting duct part, and leakage of oil to be cuased following thereto, etc. by a method wherein tanks are fixed through bolting or welding, etc. to common beams extending over the respective tanks. CONSTITUTION:Because the tanks 1a, 1b of respective unit transformers are fixed firmly mechanically to common beams 16, 17 at the bases and the upper parts, even when a strong external force vibration such as an earthquake, etc. is applied, responding acceleration of the vibration according to the difference between natural frequencies of the respective tanks 1a, 1b is suppressed, and the relative displacement quantity between the respective tanks 1a, 1b is reduced. Therefore application of loads to connecting ducts 5a, 5b and other structural materials can be suppressed. Accordingly, earthquake-resistant strength is enhanced, and a split transformer having high safety and enabled to check trouble such as generation of a crack at the connecting duct parts, leakage of oil to be caused following thereto, etc. can be obtained. |
