Bags are turned inside out by a machine with a suction pipe and collar to hold the bag, a fan to produce an undereressure inside, a filter between the pipe and fan, a valve connecting the pipe and filter chamber during operations, and an outlet for the filtered air draught. An air inlet passage admits air through perforations and thence to the filter chamber through a valve which is only opened when the first valve is closed.
